My Wife and I went and saw Venus In Fur last night. We arrived in London early so took the opportunity to meet Natalie Dormer and David Oakes after their matinee performance. We hadn't planned to do this (was going to try after the show), but just got lucky with the timing. We were walking round looking for somewhere to have a drink when we found ourselves walking past the theatre and noticing the matinee time I suggested we have a quick look round the back just in case they were coming out. Sure enough as we walked round there was nice organized que and both Natalie and David were working their way down it. I'd never seen a que like this at a stage door before but it worked really great. David worked his way down the que pretty quickly and we got him about 5 mins after arriving, Natalie was a bit longer as more people wanted photo ops. Both were really friendly and took their time to chat to everybody and thanked everyone for coming to see the show. When Natalie got to us, my Wife got 2 photos signed and then I explained I was being cheeky and had three but that it was fine if she would prefer not to sign all of them, she said it was the very least she could do after keeping us waiting. She passed comment on the top photo saying she had never seen it printed before and that the shoot wasn't as glamorous as it looked as the photographer had her laying on plastic sheets. Anyway, we ended up with five 10x8's signed (one of which had previously been signed by Sophie Turner) and I had my photo taken with them both. To top it all they were both great in the show and we had a really good night out: ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() |

Brilliant IP, Greg. Really nice of her to sign everything and it sounds like it was very organised at the stage door.
