Two charity shop finds & one purchase

Was out and about elsewhere yesterday, and having not managed to get to a charity shop all week thought I might end the week with withdrawal symptoms. Managed to visit one charity shop in the end that had all hard backs for £2, and found a couple of signed books. Also picked up a signed book from WH Smith at half price.

Winking At Life USA HB 1/1 2000 by Wink Martindale

Nice book this, like new. Wink is well known to USA tv/radio viewers as a game show host and personality, plus was a dj before that and friend of Elvis. Kelly was amazed this surfaced over here as he is a household name in the USA but pretty much unknown here. Great sig as well.

The WH Smith pick up was N-W by Zadie Smith. I had read one of her earlier books, The Autograph Man, so thought this was a good opportunity as the new book has had some interesting reviews and looks a good read.

One charity shop and two great finds!:O  I must live in a book signing void as I'm lucky if I find one in any of the charity shops near me. Nice pick up from WH Smiths.
