Something obviously happened to my reply envelope and picture, as young Maya sent her own version of my picture in her own handwritten envelope. Same scene as my pic, but different time frame, and logo is a bit different. Fine by me though, as it is not far removed from my theme, so nice of her to do this, and also send the other signed pic, and nice signed letter.

Cyndi Lauper - 217 days c/o Hammy Odeon

Did not expect to see this again as I had heard Cyndi only signed via management. She is a big favourite of mine - talented and versatile. I think this is a great picture of her and it came out well as a 11.5x8.5 pic. Of interest, a New York reply address had been added to my reply envelope, but it only had my two British stamps on it.

Really nice letter from Maya and good of her to do a version of your pic for you, Nigel. Big well done with the Cyndi Lauper reply. It's amazing that things still come back from America with only UK stamps on the envelope.
