Placido Domingo - 7 days

I have had a look around, and think this compares well with some autographed items offered by registered dealers, but am always open to proof that it is not genuine.

I sent my HB 1st of Placido's 1999 book My First Forty Years to him via The O2 where he was performing last Friday. I have had not had many come back via venue recently, so this was a pleasant surprise to say the least, and I am thrilled with this. Assuming it is genuine, it would have to rate it as one of my best ever ttm replies.

Very nice NIgel and hopefully it's genuine too, never known the 02 to sec anything they have returned items unsigned before as it's happened to me if it hasn't been possible for the person to sign so for that reason I would say it should be fine 🙂

Correcting myself, it is of course HB 1/1 1983. Not sure which ethereal plane I plucked 1999 from. 🙂

Matt - Thanks. The chances of authenticity increase big time when you get a quick reply like this via venue, especially when it is a single performance. I never take this for granted though as big names like Placido have their own team of people when they perform, so it is always possible one of their staff could sign on their behalf. However, from comparing with other sigs out there, I think this looks good.
