The Muppets - Brian Grant

Starting to get to the end of Muppet Show people that I can send cards to, but there are quite a few still out there. 

Brian Grant was a cameraman at Elstree Studios (working on The Muppet Show) before becoming a director and producer. He directed some famous 80’s music videos for artists which as Queen, Whitney Houston, Peter Gabriel etc. He has also directed for TV and film, shows such as Doctor Who, As If and Clocking Off.

I thought his name seemed familiar. I was very fond of Sky's series Hex which he directed. Nice success, and I hope you track down more.

#5       I started with just the TV show, but I have ended up sending to people from films such as The Dark Crystal and Labyrinth - there are a lot of cross overs as some worked at Henson (and the Creature Workshop) for years on various productions - was my dream job  when I was younger. There are quite a few that have sadly passed away (including Jim Henson - his sig goes for $500 +     - don't think I'll get that any time soon ) and a number that  have retired and I can't track down. Ive tried to find addresses for Directors Peter Harris and Philip Casson since I started. Philip directed EastEnders for years but stopped in 2008.

32 cards (but 5 are from when I sent two cards in requests, so 27 different signatures in total). It's only been 12 months since I started on this project so not a bad result (plus they are all replies from overseas - I am trying not to work out the postage costs). Had quite a few requests not come back. How long do people wait before sending another request? I'm sure a few have gotten lost in the mail somewhere alone the way.

I tend to give people at least a year before retrying if I want something badly. Some wait a lot less. The exception is if an alternate address opens up a new opportunity for a quicker resend.
