Bit of a sad reply this. Sent my "Victor" card already signed by Bobby Charlton and Ron Yeats to Ted Philips a week or so ago. Received my card back today with a note from his wife;

"I am sorry Ted can't sign your photo as he is ill and can't write now. Mrs D. Phillips"

Sad to here another old footballer hitting bad times.

Stuart,sorry to hear that,I think Ted has alzheimers which seems to affect a number of older players (apparently ex Norwich player Duncan Forbes can't sign any more either).I've unfortunately had similar replies to your as well over the years.
