Steve Coogan/Alan partridge signed book

I sent a  copy of Steve's book another 50p buy "I, Partridge" hardbacked first edition from 2011 (Alan Gordon Partridge is a fictional radio and television presenter portrayed by English comedian Steve Coogan) off to him via a PA on the 28th of March. Today the book has been returned signed and dedicated by one of Britain's funniest. He has weritten "To Alex, Best Wishes Steve Coogan"

Stephen John "Steve" Coogan (born 14 October 1965) is an English actor, comedian, writer, impressionist and producer. Born in Middleton, Greater Manchester, he began his career as a comedian and impressionist, working as a voice artist throughout the 1980's on satirical puppet show Spitting Image. In the early 1990s, Coogan began creating original comic characters, which he presented in stage shows; this led to him winning the 1992 Perrier Award at the Edinburgh Fringe for his show with long-time collaborator John Thomson. 

Cheers Steve Coogan...might even be a first on here. And nice to see him sign his real name and not the Character the book is about.

Great end to the week for me...now off shopping and a bit to digging in local charity shops..Raining here..typical start to the bank holiday week end.

Lovely success for you Alex, really pleased for you. I think you have done well, because if I remember right, when he did the promtional signings, he signed a lot of them as Alan Partridge, certainly less than with his real name, so you may have a rarer one signed with his real name.

I have to admit to being with Alan though, and I cannot stand him. 🙂

Great result Alex, got to meet him at Norwich Theatre about 5 years ago and his was a smashing chap happy to have photos and sign items , unlike some people I've got to meet there!
