I sent two cards to Steve Chalmers last week I got both cards back signed today . Thanks to a great member of this great foum for the help he gave me with this result .I think Steve had a bit of a problem with his pen .
Steve Chalmers signed for Celtic in February 1959 he made his debut away to Airdrie in a 1-2 win on 10 March 1959 . The great Steve Chalmers will always be remembered as the man who scored the most important goal in the history of Celtic with just five minutes remaining he hit the winner in the 1967 European Cup final against Inter Milan in Lisbon.
Steve played a total of 339 games for Celtic and he scored 228 goals he won 4 League Winners medals 3 Scottish Cups 4 League Cups and of course the European Cup .
