I've done all the Premier League teams who have come to play at Hull so far this season and the difference in attitude and willingness to sign between when Hull were last in the Premier League and now is massive, even though it was only two years ago.
I think the players have to take some of the blame, however the clubs seem to have developed an attitude whereby that connection with fans and the public seem to have gone. It also doesn't help that the majority of teams now bring over zealous security with them who seem to think that anyone who goes within 6 feet of a player is going to attack them, and some just revel in the fact they have power over you.
Some clubs are even stopping you getting autographs at training grounds as well. Leicester is one that comes to mind.
It's a shame but it is getting much harder to get Premier League autographs.
