Sir Christopher Lee?

I can't remember exactly when I sent a request to Sir Christopher, possibly the end of 2014 or beginning of 2015. I enclosed a 10X8 already signed by Peter Jackson and a cheque to sweeten things. My cheque was cashed but no reply but, I knew it was a long shot. Then, of course, he died in June 2015.

Today, this arrived. No sign of my photo but this index card was enclosed in my original envelope. Question is, is it genuine?

If it is I would like to thank Alex who helped me with the address.

Yes, the cheque was cashed soon after I sent my letter.

Well, Well Suzanne, That's one to mull over, Not sure myself, has some similarities to Sir Christophers graph. A shame the photo has not been returned to you, I remember you getting the photo signed by Peter Jackson. I am sure I contacted you at the end of 2014 Suzanne, It would have been go on get it sent, he who dares in this game... It might take some time! .Just hope it's genuine for you, The more I look at it the more I think it  just might be right, Fangs for that.

"He who Dares" in this game.

I agree with Looby Loo.  It certainly looks like the real thing.  It will keep everyone guessing for a while but will you ever get to the bottom of it?? Hmmmmm.

I HAVE SEEN ON FACEBOOK THAT HIS DAUGHTER HAS FOUND A LOT OF SIGNED ITEMS IN A CUPBOARD AND IS SENDING THEM BACK TO THE PEOPLE THAT SENT THEM IN

I've seen this discussed in a couple of places this week and jury is out although more people seem to be leaning towards autoepn or stamp.  check out this thread for more discussion:

Sir Christopher Lee?

Thanks for all the feedback.

When it first arrived, I did some comparisons and I wasn't totally convinced. It now seems it isn't the real deal and I'd rather know that than kid myself it's real.

Plus, I don't have that kind of luck.

Annoyed about my Peter Jackson pic too but as Alex says "he who dares?"

Sir Christopher Lee?

Hi Suzanne, hope you are well 🙂 I am sorry to hear that your Peter Jackson did not come back. Attached is a photo that Sir Chris sent me from Cadogan Square back in 2011 i think. If you compare this to yours, i think you will see some very big differences. I beleive this to be hand signed as you can see where the pen leaves and rejoins the image at speed if you get me?

Hope this helps,

All my best

Paul

Hi Paul, good to hear from you.

I do see what you mean. I noticed the "L" in my reply was off from others I'd looked at.

I knew he was difficult to get and when he passed away, I gave up on the request so it's not a big disappointment.
