Signed Football shirts

There seems to be quite a few signed football shirts for sale on ebay and at fairly good prices why would anyone start a shirt then sell it for such little money? Are times really that hard? on another note whats with the prices of Signed Country C'ds they've gone really expensive! think I'll be getting a few more of them signed 🙂 or are they too expensive that they wont sell? £50 for a signed cd seems a little steep?

As long as people are happy to pay such a high price then they will sell at that.

Not everything on ebay is 100% genuine, when buying you may do a bit of research on the item and seller just to be sure

Recent sales of Taylor Swift's signed cd has seen people get £46, so I would say that is a fair benchmark for this item right now while demand is there.

I am very wary of signed shirts on eBay due to the volume of dodgy items, and stick with Watford only when buying as I have better knowledge of the signatures. If I was buying a signed shirt for another team I would have to trust the seller 100% to part with my money.

if your looking to buy a signed shirt Jane give me a shout and I can have a look to see if its genuine for you? been doing footy ttm and ip for quite a while ip longer than ttm so have seen a great deal of rushed and full sigs as well as changing football sigs 🙂

Nigel I've seen some Taylor Swift autographs up for sale in the hundreds of pounds and you know we ran into her whilst we were in Nashville last year! We could kick ourselves as its never probably going to happen again! we'd left Jess's flag back at the hotel so didnt get an autograph how annoying is that however jess did get a photo with her? we also ran into Charlie Pride waiting for a take away whilst we were waiting to be seated in an eating place...he went down the line and shook everyones hand bless him! Jess's flag was in the car again! We learned a big lesson last year 🙂

Jane,as the others have said there are a lot of fake signed shirts out there-you can generally tell because all the signatures are the same size and can look too 'neat'

I've started to listen to Taylor Swift recently when I'm driving and I really like her music

🙂 I'll prob take a better look at some of those shirts when I have a few hours...recently purchased a fake Johnny Cash autograph it was a genuine mistake a lady thought her grandad had told her he got it signed at some hotel....but he must have bought it fake and just got mixed up 😞 so getting upto speed on Johnny Cash autographs !
