George W. Bush - 242 days

Signed Decision Points bookplate. It would be nice if this was genuine, but unless someone can prove it is genuine, it will not be stuck in my copy of Decision Points, but I will keep it tucked inside.

I have not managed to find an autopen pattern to match this, and the accompanying card from his office implies it is hand signed, but as with any Presidential signature, whose hand actually signed the signature?

Not an easy task finding out if its good i hope it is Nigel it would be awesome result one of the best i would have seen on here:)fingers crossed mate.

hope its ok for you Nigel...ive read that when they arent president/prime minister the chances of them being authentic replies increases so you may be ok with this one seen as though he's less busy than when he was president..not 100% sure this is always the case but i suppose it sort of makes sense, good luck with finding out anyway 🙂

definetely not autopen mate,,,ive looked at a dozen bookplates sent back from him on startiger,all are different:-)

Thanks for the examples Daz. I agree it is not autopen - I could not find any matches either. Tough one to call as it is not a great sig. I would not be surprised if it turned out to be secretarial. The wording on the accompanying card has me half suspecting that.
