Starting with a purchase that arrived yesterday. robboh tipped me off last week that A1 had a John Barnes signed print. I actually ended up missing that listing, but picked up another from A1 for £4.61. Today I framed it. Watford legend. Thanks for the tip robboh. I am trying not look at eBay too often - far too tempting at times, but that was a must for me.
Finished the week with two more replies. 14 replies this week. It has been a long time since I had that much mail action!
Ann Widdecombe - 33 days via panto (now ended)
Ann kindly signed my 4x6 Doctor Who photo, and kindly sent me her own signed 6x4 photo and a signed panto flyer. She also sent a letter (not pictured) that is addressed to me by hand, but the signature is printed.
Meryl Fernandes - 11 days c/o EE
Second attempt at getting Meryl. My first request did not come back, so pleased to see this especially as many that have surfaced on eBay are suspect to say the least. I sent her a blank EE card, and a 4x6 Doctor Who photo. She has been brilliant on EE as Afia, and a realy credit to the show.
#5 - Long time Watford fan. First match attended was the league cup semi 2nd leg v Forest in Jan 79. Years later I got GT to autograph my prog from the game. Was a season ticket holder for most of the time after that, and a regular home and away including every kick of two promotion and two relegatuion seasons during a five season purple patch of attendance, but had to stop going in May 2008 due to family issues. Have been to one game since, last April. Still avidly follow them on tv and the internet. Also love football in general - best sport in the world.
