Sir Bobby Charlton - 12 days

Sir Bobby kindly became the 5th sig in my 2nd attempt at sending round the 1978 book There's Only One United. That's 5 of the 6 who signed my original copy before it got lost. Of interest, I also sent an EPS multi signed photo, but this was returned not signed by Sir Bobby. Not sure if this is due to a Sir Bobby limit of 1, or advice from A1.

Jimmy Armfield, CBE - 5 days

Jimmy kindly signed my HB 1st of his biography and my 6x4 photo. Yep, the photo is signed with a glitter pen - lol. 🙂

Also, I purchased a signed poster from the Bachman Turner website. With postage from the USA it worked out to a little over £12. They very generously sent me two signed posters and a couple of large stickers.

Great replys Nigel glad the book come back its really sad when you lose something that is multi signed i know that feeling only too well but thats the risk we take sending things off .

My flag will be away out on Monday its signed by 5 at the momment and i will worry again until it comes back but if i dont send it out then i cannot get anymore on it .

Like all 3 results. Great Man Utd book, Jimmy Armfield is a great signer and the purchase from the US turned out to be a great buy with the extra items. Well done.

 Thanks all, Saturday's replies finished a satisfying week for me.

#8 - Sy. If you start a multi-sig ttm project as a blank canvas, think of it as just that each step of the way, and any risk/potential loss will never seem quite so bad.

#10 - Brian. A missed opportunity, but I can "Take It Like A Man", and it made a great start "For The Weekend", plus with the extras, I clearly received "Service With A Smile" while they were "Takin' Care of Business". 🙂
