Sent old Stoke City team photo and index card to Peter Dobing via the club on 2/11. I received my items back yesterday 28/11 with a note from a member of the Stoke City Old Boys Association to say that Peter is now in a home, not very well and unable to sign any more. Very sad news. Peter was Captain of Stoke City when they won the League Cup in 1972. On a better note, the member was able to get me signatures of three former players on the team photo , who also signed the index card. He also included two photos, one signed by Geoff Hurst and the other by George Eastham and Terry Conroy. This was much appreciated by myself but sad that another football great is not too well.
