RIP Bryan Forbes, 86

More sad news. Another great film maker and author has passed away, Bryan Forbes. Originally an actor, in the late 40's and 50's, he turned to directng in the 60's, and made some great films.

 he was very talented  sad news and only 68,no age this day and age,i got areply from him only a couple of years back

He made some wonderful and very British films. Sad loss.

Daz - put your glasses on. He was 86, not 68. That's a good innings by anyone's standards. He was definitely a good friend to ttmers though which I am grateful for. I had a reply myself four years ago, and have one of his books signed from a charity shop find.
