Patsy Cline Follow up :(

I have just received this back on the authentication of the Patsy Cline autograph I purchased on ebay...

  PATSY CLINE SIGNATURE;;VAN SCAN;; Not likely to be genuine: Our authenticators believe that the item, if physically submitted to P.A.A.S. for examination, would likely not receive our certificate of authenticity. **Please note this based upon a scan. The only way to truly examine and authenticate an autograph is to physically examine the signature, the ink and the item that has been signed.

So I have alerted ebay and asked for my money back from the seller...we'll see what happens now...

Morning everyone

Thanks for your messages...as soon as I switched my computer on this morning there was message from the seller offering me a full refund if I drop the cas as it was ruining his listing availability...he requested the Information from the authenticators who have also reported him to ebay...I have refused for now to give him the info as I paid for it...he can pay for his own... I reported to everyone I could his emails must have coming through thick and fast last night...haha so hopefully I will have my refund soon which I will be donating to the Alzheimer Charity 🙂

Jane,please make sure you leave negative feedback,do not agree to drop the case,you are in charge not him,he will say and do anything to try and limit the damage,so stay firm,get your full refund and neg him,oh and if he asks for the item to be returned do not return it untill after your refund and of course make sure the item cant be sold on.

#12 he is being so nice.......saying he didnt know it was fake... he has asked for it back but what can I do to stop him re selling it? he did say he'd refund straight away but hasn't yet the authenticators are reporting him to ebay also so we'll have to wait and see...I just hope the authenticators are correct! I think I really do know that they are I just wanted them to be wrong 🙂

Of course hes being nice hes been rumbled and wants to limit the damage,as I said get the refund,if he wants the item back he pays postage and as hes given you a refund and by doing so he accepts its fake then of course he wont object to you marking the item clearly as such,will he...

As milly says hes just bought some blank auto books so Im sure hell be meeting lots of top celebs in the next few weeks..
