One of those great days in the hobby

This morning I watched postie walk by.  Smiley Sad

I did get a signed pre-order of Moby's new cd at the start of the week. Listening to it right now. Perfect for the chilled couple of hours I am having right now.

Went out with Mandy for our weekly outing and had a spectacular haul of five signed books in the charity shops. Have not had a big haul of finds like this for ages. One for £1.50 and four in a 2 for £1 deal so 50p each. These include two former prime ministers! I'll add one find to this post, and post the other four tomorrow.

Today's post from the charity shop finds is one of the 50p books.

Bordeaux HB 1/1 2008 by Oz Clarke

Still in a mylar cover for protection and signed with a dedication.

Possibly of interest to some. I noticed that my Works had signed copies of Battle Castles by Dan Snow for £4.99. Chunky large format books. I did not bother myself.

Also, my local Poundland has Ken Livingstone's bio. This is a monster of a book, but worth picking up for a ttm as he did not do much in the way of signings, so it is scarce signed. I already have one signed.

When we got home I discovered it was not a whitewash with replies this week. I had one delivered to a neighbour by mistake. Thankfully they brought it round as it is a special one for me.

My thanks to Greg for his help with this.

Sally Geeson - 70 days

Sally kindly signed my Mr Forbush DVD cover and a 4x6 picture I sent. Mr Forbush is one of my all time favourite films and this cover is now signed by six - John Hurt, Hayley Mills, Dudley Sutton, Tony Britton, Burnell Tucker and Sally. Glad she signed the pic as it as a gorgeous pic of her.
