Thanks Daz, a really interesting interview -- I only have to think of Stan and Ollie to make me smile.
The late slide guitarist Sammy Mitchell once recorded a tribute to Stan and Ollie called the "Ambidextrous March", and Ralph McTell plays a wonderful tribute to Ollie I called " That'll Do Babe".

This interview was fab....loved it
It was so strange his accent as he had an American Twang but didnt use American Words then remembered he was form the North Of England wasnt he?
Would have loved to see pictures....

yes he was a lancashire lad.they have changed the boundaries now though,if he was alive today he would be a cumbrian lad:-)laurel and hardy are my all time favourite comedians, loved them since i was a kid,his daughter is still alive, and has a forum, where you submit a question to her,and she will give you a answer, ive submitted quite a few over the years:-)

Daz...it was so nice to hear him in real life as he sounds nothing like his character he played which is strange really cause he looked like how he talked as Stan Laurel if you undrestand what I mean....it shows how good he was at acting which didnt really come over in the pictures I thought that is how he was!!! a bit dumb!!...He was a very good talker loved his interview and would never have listened to it in a month of Sundays if I hadnt have been polite and clicked on your link cause you'd took the time to post it....Everyone should listen to it...
