Had tried to get him in the past without success - Brian again assisted by suggesting Aberdeen directly (did not know i could from there) and hey presto a one week turnaround. Pretty pleased!!! Famously dropped by Fergie after conceding 3 goals in the FA Cup final against Palace and replaced by the great Les Sealey for the replay - United won and the rest is history. Palace fans must have felt really great after their great win on Wednesday. His United career was finished after that - Great keeper though who played over 90 times for Scotland.
