Tomy Anderson - 168 days c/o South Melbourne FC, Australia

To be fair, this was a bit of a long shot. Tommy had two spells for Watford in the 50s and 60s and ended his playing days in Australia where he settled. I found an article about him being inducted into the 1960s South Melbourne FC hall of fame after his 60s appearances for them. I was hoping as this was fairly recent they may have a contact address for him, even though he was last heard of in Sydney.

Although they could not find him, they sent my request back with a lovely letter explaining they had tried, which I do appreciate, and have already emailed my thanks.

I'll take my hat off to Nicki...many an english club wouldn't go the extra mile to help out with a ttm request..and his is from the other side of the world.
