Milestone

I made three purchases that have helped me to my milestone. The linked page will only be available for today, then I am taking it down. I hope you like.

The three purchases were old B&W signed pics - William Boyde & Sandy Ratcliff, plus Lindsey Coulson's new one which eluded me over two requests.

500 different signed official cards.

8 signed official 25th anniversary cards.

13 unsigned cards for pets and kids (including the 2 secretarials from Maisie).

I am going to be working hard this year and next year to track down the remaining missing signed cards. About 62 to go.

Just had a look through mate and that's amazing and brought back some memories as I have watched the programme since it began and seeing some of the old cast members ,

Well done on reaching 500 cards Nigel.I've seen a lot of older cards listed on here lately and I wondered how many of them you might need.Just need to start counting down from now!

Thanks all. Sorry I cannot keep the page up, but there are too many freeloading scumbags on eBay who used my old page as a reference to copy sigs for fakes they were selling. That's why the old site came down originally. It's also possibly a reason there is nothing similar for United club cards Carl. Sid's shirt is definitely similar to that Celtic shirt design Brian, but I have a vague, vague memory of his shirt being light blue and white stripes. I may be wrong, my memory is shite.

As it is a EE related, I will hijack my own thread. I came across a card on a popular online selling venue that was not genuine, but it is a timely reminder that this happens, and should act as a warning. I have not seen this for a while since the worst of the fakers was at their most active. It is probably one of theirs being recycled by a buyer or a buyer from a buyer, etc.

In the early days, there was a run of the the B&W cards that had printed signatures - some were printed in white and some were printed in black.

What a few unscrupulous sellers started doing was tracing over the printed signature in biro and then selling them as genuinely signed. It's a nasty scam as a small number of those cards are hard to find, so there is little comparison available for them. It was an easier scam than getting the blank cards and faking the signatures as some did.

Something to watch out for when looking for these older signed EE cards.
