Michael Caine signed book .

Michael Caine was doing a book signing at a Waterstones branch on the 4th of this month , I phoned them and asked if I could order a copy but they told me he would not be in the shop long enough to sign books ordered over the phone . The girl took my phone number and said if they had a spare she would phone me . I thought I would never hear from them again but this morning she phoned me and said there was a spare copy and did I want it  of course I did ,  she has posted it to me today .

Why is it that the big guns like sir m caine only do the big city's? Manchester, London, etc. Do they even know they have fans here in little old Lincoln??

WE HAVE TWO BLOODY WATERSTONES!!!!!!!!!! And we get some poxy local historian signing his 10 page book about lin-bloody-coln history! that we didnt already learn about on school trips 20 years ago!

Apologgies...... Rant over lol:) Just anoys me that they cant be arsed to come to all waterstone stores and sign.

I went into ours a couple of years back and asked the assistant if there was any chance of getting one of Sir Bobby's "My Man Utd Years" editions signed. and he said "Who"!!! I mean who do these places hire! they are so dim its unreal. He said" Can i take your e-mail and i will mail you if we can get one" In a dim voice! I said forget it mate lol:)
