I just love late mail on the weekends, don't you? On 10/24/13, I wrote Earl Hamner, Jr., who created the US television classic "The Waltons," with a TTM request. I sent SSAE, and a 3x5 card for signing. Received his sudden response yesterday, 11/23/13, with the 3x5 signed "To Pat- Warmest Walton Wishes! Earl Hamner, Jr." Totally blew my mind when I instinctively checked my mailbox and found that! His fanmail address can be found on the fanmail.biz database. We've snow a-comin' today, and my nephew is here from US Marine recruit training. I know which of the two I'd prefer...............Warmest regards to all!

You timed that well Pat - nothing worse than poor weather for mail deliveries. Lovely success for you.
Earl Hamner Jr is a true legend as far as I am concerned. It made my day when he replied to me also. Definitely going to do a bit of Waltons research this week to try to get some of the others I am missing. You got me going again.

Nice to get your blood flowing (bows)! They're all at fanmail.biz. Good for us "autograph-nuts" to help each other out from time to time, distance notwithstanding.
