Hi guys, yes i'm back lol:)
Today i found myself needing to get back into what i do best:) Guess you are wondering who lol. Here goes.
I drove down a quiet little lane in a suberb of Manchester and pulled over outside a georgeous looking propery. I like to leave my items in the vehicle until i have asked if the occupant would be happy to sign for me. I walked up to the huge iron gated property, and pushed the correct buzzer. A voice said "Yes"
"Hello Mr S-----, sorry to bother you at home but i wondered if you would be kind enough to sign my programme for me" A voice came back saying "Sorry i cant hear you can you speak up" I repeated myself and there was a silence. I was anticipating a rejection of my request when the voice said " Ok that will be fine"
then the gates began to open:) but my items were in the vehicle lol, so i ran as fast as i could to get my item for signing just in time as the gates were now beginning to close. I walked up a lovely driveway to be met by Manchester United legend and 1968 european cup winner David Sadler. 🙂
I shook his hand and thanked him for seeing me. He said "Thats ok" I then offered my programme for signing, which he did and then he said "Have i signed the photo" That was under the programme. "Yes you have already signed it at a signing" He said "Can i have a look" I then slid the programme to one side but unfortunately i caught the newly signed graph with my finger a smudged it 😞 .
" That is a really nice looking photo, have you visited all of these players?" I replied with a hearty "Yes Sir, it's what i do" and he smiled:) I then bid him well and we shook hands one more time. He then told me how to open the gate's from the inside and i left:)
