Last september my son got hold of pitlane passes for the British superbike championships round at Oulton Park for my Birthday present, great day out and got chance to walk the pitlane a couple of hours before the first race and managed to graph a good few riders on the day will post those later, also had a nice pic taken with some of the riders wives. On the day a few trade stands about and one of the greatest Isle of Man TT champoins of all time was there doing a book signing, He still had several pins/rods through his leg after an horrendous crash early last year, Hope he rides again at some point....Anyway bought the autobiography and got John to sign it for me, have to be different though and asked for this inscription "Best Wishes John McGuinness 23 TT wins....Won the odd on !!"

I wish him well for the future, looks like a long road back though,

What a fantastic day out, Alex and that's a great signed book.

It makes me cringe when I see his leg and all the metalwork. I'm sure he'll be back as they're all completely mad.

Great ip Alex. Should be a wonderful book to read. Have been to a couple of TT's and seen him ride there. One of the greatest TT riders of all time.
