John Jeffrey ex Scottish RU success

Sent player ex players photo, programme, two index cards and three photo cards to John Jeffrey on 31/10 received today all signed. He is the second sig on the player photo after John Beattie.
John Jeffrey was a Scottish RU player who played his club rugby for Kelso in the 1980/90's. He won 40 caps for Scotland between 1984-91 and was a also British and Irish Lion on the tour to Australia in 1989.
His day job was a farmer in the Borders region of Scotland and he stated that his one regret was "If I stand on a hill I can see England".
