I wrote to John Bond a few weeks ago and got my cards back signed together with a small note from John hoping that I was still enjoying my golf-I met John a few years ago at Woodbury golf club when Spurs were staying there for pre-season,and John gave me his address to send some cards to him which I reminded him of in my letter-he obviously thought I was there for the golf!

John played for West Ham and Torquay and managed Bournemouth,Norwich,Man City,Burnley,Swansea,Birmingham and Shrewsbury.

John Bond..Remember him as manager of Burnley..when he'd finished with the club they asked for James Bond to sort them out! Pleased for you.
