Jimmy "Whirlwind" White IP.

Had the chance to go to a charity snooker night over in Blackburn mid-week, Jimmy White had an evening up here playing a frame against a a dozen local lads in aid of McMillan Nurses. Jimmy also brought with him Hossein Vafaei, World amateur snooker champion and the only Professional Iranian snooker player in the history of the game, Great potter he is too. Jimmy was happy to sign a couple of books for me, His latest Autobiography, plus a couple of cards. Signed anythng for anyone..true gent he is and still the peoples champion I had a chat about his beloved Chelsae FC and how Jose would be spared the sack and keep his job as they would not be relegated and what could a new face do that he couldn't....how wrong we were. MC on the night was former Snooker Pro Ian McCulloch he also signed a card for me as did Hossein Vafaei, he printed his name then signed his name from right to left rather than the usual left to right...its an Iranian thing 

Cracking night was had by all...Cheers Jimmy "Whirlwind" White....still my favourite of all time.

the nights ive stayed up watching jimmy on bbc2 in the snooker championships brings back happy memories,,really great experience for you and a night to remember alex,,great items to come away with too
