I won this Match worn shirt in a free raffle last October at a Football Programme fair at Stanley's ground. Jamie was here on loan in early 2012. So I sent the shirt up to Hull City, Jamie's club, on the 24th of October last year.....Just as he went out on loan again to Rotherham....then Grimsby Town where he is until the end of the season. Anyway the shirt has arrived back today with a short note, Young Jamie even added 4x20p stamps to get the shirt back recorded delivery..What a nice lad, out of the Bobby Grant mould I think, best of mates when they were here togrther.
Jamie has kindly signed the shirt in Red Sharpie to the front and Slver Sharpie to the reverse on the No 17.( I sent the pens)
A few lines in the letter saying he'd only just received his mail from Hull City and hoped I liked it..and I do.
This was Jamie's Match worn away shirt from his time at the club..I also have No 16 Bobby Grant's signed shirts from the same season. Happy Days...Always liked his style of football, out and out winger with pace and the ability to beat players whist running with the ball, A bit flash too And not afraid to have a crack at goal from distance...Quality free Kick specialist too. I'll be watching his progress.
Jamie Martin Devitt (born 6 July 1990) is an Irish footballer who plays as a winger for Conference National side Grimsby Town, on loan from Football League Championship side Hull City.
He has also previously played for Darlington, Shrewsbury Town, Grimsby Town, Bradford City, Accrington Stanley and Rotherham United. The 2009–10 season was finished off for him with an unwanted hat-trick as he capped three relegations in one season. His parent club Hull City dropped out of the Premier League, while both Darlington and Grimsby were also relegated from League Two.

Awesome shirt Alex glad it eventually returned for you. He has a nice graph too for a modern footballer and nice touch with the note and stamps, got to love the lower league players as more down to earth than these overpaid premiership players when it comes to autographs

quality that Alex pleased its came back to you signed as requested and well worth waiting for..ive certainly noticed this year at Bolton that the lower league players are much more friendlier and accommodating when it comes to fans and signing certainly been the only enjoyable bit of the season for us as the football isnt brill results wise
