White Lies (Harry McVeigh, Charles Cave, Jack Lawrence-Brown)
Detoured via Oxford Street on my way home from work tonight to catch White Lies do a 5 song promo set at HMV, and then sign their new album Ritual. Chuffed to get along, White Lies are definitely one of the best bands around at the moment. Surprised they did not do a wristband only entry for this - a large crowd turned up, and they did a really solid mini set.
Due to the crowd they were rushing through the signing. The first security guard said I had to put my autograph book away, and that I could only get the cd cover signed, but when I got to the table I asked the security guard there if "I could be old fashioned and get my autograph book signed as well". He was cool, and told the band to sign my autograph book as well as cd cover. 🙂 Glad they did as the rushed sigs look better in the autograph book than on the cd cover.
