First home friendly of the season last night, Stanley hosted a squad from Blackburn Rovers made up on around 11 first team players and the same from the U 21 squad. Not a bad night, match finished 2-2 . I managed Stanley Manager James Beattie on his pic in the programme, Rovers boss Gary Bowyer, First team coach and Ex Rovers player Craig Short, Goalking coach and Ex Rovers keeper John Filan plus players Paul Robinson (Keeper) Alex Baptiste, David Raya, Ruben Rochina, Marcus Olsson, Local Lad David Dunn, Jorden Rhodes and sat in Stands a couple of seats away former Rovers, West Ham, Everton, Watford, and Australian international and Captain Lucas Neill.

Not bad for a Wednesday night in the sunshine. Enjoy.
