Fantastic point for us yesterday against one of the title contenders in League 2. We even went in front from and own goal off the shins of Southend's No5 Mark Phillips. That woke the visitors up and a cracking powerful header from 6 yards by No 6 Luke Prosser brought them level. After that the onslaught began and we did well to hang on to the point and Stanley's Keeper Young lad Andy Dauber was named man of the match for his efforts.
Anyway I managed 24 Graphs from the Southend lads in the match day programme, That's all 11 of the starting line up ( No 16 Conner Cliford signed twice) plus all 7 on the subs bench along with 2 additional first team squad players No 27Josh Banton and No 30 Jack Bridge who travelled up for some first team away day experience and the Managerment team of Manager Phil Brown, Very nice bloke and had time for a chat before the game, Assistant manager Dave Penney and first team coach Graham Coughlan (one of your old boys Rob) Graham also played on 2 occasions for Burnley so he kindly signed the shirt I have.......Got a pic dual signed in the programme by Manager James Beattie and Tom Aldred and also got Stanley's No 17 James Greay to add his sig to a pic in the programme. Excellect way to finish 2013.
Thanks to all who stopped and signed once again...Happy New Year.
