First of all a massive thank you to 2 of the Oxford lads...No 11 Jon-Paul Pittman scorer of Oxfords first goal he was stretchered off in the 42nd minute with a dislocated right shoulder and ended up in the local hospital for treatment coming back to the ground around 5.35pm with it all strapped up and in a sling...he was still happy to take the pen between his thumb and forefinger and do a short version of his graph..top bloke and to No 16 Andy Whing who again was stretchered off in the 50th munute with damage to his ankle he had an hour in the treatment room and re appeared on 2 crutches but he also was happy to sign for me on the way out Both will miss the replay..another top bloke. Thanks lads.
Now then...I managed all 17 squad members who travelled up from Oxford in yesterdays match day programme plus manager Chris Wilder..he still can't believe James Beattie meant to score from all of 30 yards...anyone seen his goal from yesterday..Awesome strike. Also added Stanley Captain Luke Joyce plus Michael Liddle on pic's in the programme too. We had to bring in an emergency keeper yesterday Ex Man Utd, Now Leeds No 3 or 4th keeper, he cn't remember Paul Rachubka. As he played yesterday he found his way onto the shirt and into my book, 40 on the shirt and 84 I think in the book now, He was also kind enough to sign an index card for me, That could be off to Rotherham if my mate hasn't got one in his collection eh Carl?
Having got that England shirt of Jamie Yesterday I started off adding James Beattie to that too. Also at in the crowd was Jim Rosenthal the sports presenter on TV, he's on the Oxford board of director's so got him to sign a card for me. Happy days.

How brilliant of the two injured players to come out and sign for you, Alex. Top fellas. And is your book the most signed book on this forum?

Not sure Suzanne, We did have a member who was, Still is, a massive Northampton fan and he had a "Who's who" book of the former players with a few hundred in it.

Fabulous graffs once agan Alex. You are going great guns with the book and shirt.
cobblered - that was our old friend from Northampton. He had a serious Northampton book with something like 180 signatures or so if I remember. Like Paul, he would knockknock the former players. A remarkable book, and I miss seeing his posts about adding to it.
When I was queuing for the Darren Anderton signing a few years ago, a Spurs supporter in front of me showed me his book. He had over 200 signatures in it. There was also a lad at last year's Denis Law signing who had about 125 sigs in a United book. Some amazing collections out there. It's a shame we do not get to see them all.
