Weii did anyone see the penalty shoot out last night? So near and yet so far...0-0 after 90 mins, 2-2 after extra time, 3-3 after the first 5 penalties then beat with the first sudden death shoot-out, Did ourselves proud last night but that doesn't get you into the hat for round 2 I'm afraid.

Not to worry.

I managed to get Hull Manager Steve Bruce, Dean Windass now Club embassador at Hull and dad to Stanley's Josh to sign the matchday programme along with 17 of the 20 man squad who travelled down for the game, Nikica Jelavic refused to sign anything for anyone that included my programme and Everton shirt, David Meyler moaned at all he signed for..E-bay, E-bay E-bay he shouted..Ex Spurs and England duo Tom Huddlestone and Michael Dawson were fine with all. The management lads at Hull Steve Bruce and Mike Phelan signed a Utd book I picked up a couple of weeks ago as did Goalkeeping coach Gary walsh, Mike phelan also signed the Burnley shirt I have on the go and also the England shirt I have......Steve Bruce didn't realse Mike had and England cap...just the one but one more that Steve,,,He said it was a very long story as to why he was never capped for England....Tom Huddlestone and Mike Dawson were also happy to sign the shirt.......It won't happen again where I can take my England shirt to a Stanley home match and get 3 Ex England Internations to sign it. I also added new Stanley captain Terry Gornell to a photo in the programe. Cracking night it really was.

Cracking nights ip Alex. Like the programme and great additions to your shirts and book. Just a shame some players at happy to sign though. Great night, well done.

Nice haul of graphs , who does Myler think he is anyway even if you were selling them on e bay I don't think you would get much for his autograph

Who's David Meyler?

David John Meyler (born 29 May 1989) is an Irish professional footballer who plays as a midfielder for English club Hull City. He is the son of hurling manager John Meyler. He grew up in Rochestown Rise in Cork and, like his father, played hurling, Gaelic football and football from an early age.

After turning professional at local team Cork City, Meyler moved to Sunderland in the Premier League in 2010. He joined Hull in January 2013 after a short loan spell. He has been a full international for the Republic of Ireland since 2012.

Well done Alex,it's great that the football season has started again! Plymouth narrowly lost to Gillingham but we look a lot better than we did last year.

My mate who has moved back down here after living in London for years had said Jelavic very rarely signs and you might get 50p for Meylor's autograph on Ebay!
