I knew once Nigel sent me the signed 'Nick Cotton' Eastenders card he would immediately tempt me to build on this collection.

My ability to avoid collecting autographs is very weak as is shown by my recent purchases- 3 EE signed cards.Only cost me £3.50 for the cards but I have to admit I have put in a few other low bids just to see what I can pick up.

I can feel a TTM project starting!

Seriously, welcome aboard an addictive collecting path. You chose three nice signed cards. Adam is a stealth legend, and Lacey made quite an mpact as well as proving herself since on other shows.

If you want any help with cast members who sign (past and present) I will be happy to help.

Check the sigs for anything you buy. There were a few fakers pushing a lot of dodgy signed EE cards for some time. The majority seem to be quiet right now, but one woman in particular was responsible for most EE fakes out there. Sadly lots of people bought these, so the dodgy ones will get resold from time to time.

There is also an autopen pattern for Barbara Windsor on a clutch of older cards from when she was ill, a stamped sig on most current Steve McFadden replies, and due to his ill health, John Bardon's card has a preprint sig, but he used to sign well before his stroke, so plenty of good signed cards as well.

It's so easy to see the possibilities of a new project and I've often thought, "that would make a good collection". Sometimes the temptation is too much.

They are really nicely produced cards and with quite a good 'turnover' of actors there always seems to be someone new to collect - so all good.  Best of luck with your new project.
