Briteny and myself did end up at the Shrewsbury V Plymouth game, invited down by Bobb Grant once again, Not the result they were hoping for but still had plenty to celebrate with the Shrews being runners up in League 2 and promotion to League 1. Met Bobby before the game, Met his mum and dad again and Girlfrind in the players lounge prior to the game starting, Joined in the celebrations after the final whistle, Had drinks with Bobby and his family after the celebraions on the pitch had finished, Briteny got to wear his league 2 runners up medal for an hour ......he had to ask for it back. He even gave us a lift to the train station so we would not miss the 7.00 pm train. He really is a top bloke and a perfect example of a mdern day professional footballer. Where ever he ends up next season we will be paying him a visit. Bobby also gave Briteny a couple of signed Blackpool shirts which will sit alongside the rest of "Bobby Grant" signed shirts she has. One or Two photo's of the day but in Briteny's memory for a long time.
