As Alex says, "He who Dares" in this game. Two quick replies thanks to help from two forum members, and both with some of my favourite multi-signed items. Chuffed with both of these replies from two great former players.

Lou Macari

A great addition to my 1978 United book (12th legend to sign), white United shirt (10th sig), and he also kindly signed my HB 1/1 of his autobiography.

Phil Neal

The Liverpool and Engand legend kindly signed my Liverpool shirt that started out as a replacement for my lost shirt courtesy of Brian (8th sig), my England shirt (11th sig) and a HB 1/1 of his 1981 book Attack From The Back.

Thank you. The 1978 book is one of my favourites, and in itself is a replacement for an earlier one that had been signed seven times before disappearing on a Denis Law ttm request. I have limited it to people who appeared for United up to 1978, so it is era specific. With the first book lost, and all 7 in that plus 11 of the 12 in this all obtained ttm, it has been an interesting project. Only Denis Law was added in person second time round. To date there is only Steve Coppell I had in the first book who I have not yet managed to get in the second.

Come on Paul - scratch that itch! We miss your knockknock stories. They are legendary on this forum, and you often made many gents of the game you visted happy with your visits. It would be great to see again.
