Sorry if last night's reply to an old post confused anyone. Was just posting I had found a dust jacket for the signed Matt Dawson book I found last summer.
Have got back to writing some requests this weekend. I only sent out eight in January, and have so far written five this weekend with at least one more to come today.
Once again the charity shops were kind to me this week. Three with Signed By stickers on the front as well.
Starting with two for £1 each. I already have both of these, but was not leaving them for £1 each.
The next find was £1.50 and one I did not have. I had a count of my signed footy books recently, so this makes signed footy book 157 in my collection. Pleased with this.
My fourth find is a great book signed by the film producer David Puttnam with an intriguing dedication. Bearing in mind his friendship with a certain princess of the same name, and that it was dated May 97, it lends itself to delicious speculation, but obviously no proof of who it really was for. It was found in a London charity shop. This cost me £3.

Great week of charity shop finds, Nigel. That's an impressive football book collection you have. The David Puttnam book is a brilliant find and possibilities of where it's come from is certainly intriguing.

More great finds Nigel, must admit to being envious of the luck you have.I had a quick look in Waterstones and Hatchards at Picadilly before I caught the train back today, and whilst there were a few signed books none grabbed my attention.
If anyone wants a signed Rio Ferdinand book,Hatchards had loads!
