No football yesterday so had an hour in Accrington then had a wonder over to Burnley to browse the charity shops and found a bargain for £2.

Hardbacked limited subscribers edition of which this is No 18 of 500 with a full list of individual suscribers and company patronsprinted in the final pages titled "The Clarets collection 1946-1996, A post war who's who of Burnle football club and signed by Author Ray Simpson. an official Burnley FC publication from 1996. It even has aninvitation card inside to the origional owner Mr david Harwood to the launch of the book in the north stand banqueting suite, Turf Moor on Tuesday November 12th 1996 and on the reverse of that a welcome to any former Clarets together with his family...Cracking piece of Burnley FC Histroy and Local to me. With Mr harwood being No 18 on the list I thought he might be associated with the club in some way but cannot find anything to suggest that...maybe a bit more research even contacting the club.

These are great books Alex, a really nice find. Do you remember the Fulham one I found a few years back? With more time and money they would be good to collect in their own right, but I am lacking space as it is. lol Seriously nice find Alex. I really like it.
