As most of you will know, I collect Northampton Town signatures in one particular book and on the whole don't get other signatures except if I really, really like them. About a month ago I got round to wondering about who I would like to write to if I did try a TTM and kept coming back to the same person, you'll have to open the link to see who it was. 😛
I had a hunt through the Fanmailbiz site and found an address. I sent it off and genuinely didn't expect a reply in less than six months. I can't tell you how pleased I was to see the envelope on the table when I got back from work this evening. My original photo got a touch crumpled and the person very kindly included a signed complimentary picture aswell.
Now thats what i call a result must be the best reply i have seen on here i think any collector would like that autograph including a true blue like myself have to check out the address you used:)
looks ok to me mate,i know he is rare ttm though,dont think ive seen one back from him in years,and ive not heard of him ever sending out secs,,matt what makes you think its not real?
I have to admit I didn't for one second think it wasn't genuine. Are you saying he has somebody who signs for him and sends them back Matt? Sorry, just realised that's what you mean by 'Secs'
Another one that we dont know if it's genuine or not we had one a few weeks back with I think it was Elizabeth Taylor....what was the outcome of that? It's fab if it is as the guys said....a very well known footballer...very nice
Unless someone has definite proof that Pele does not sign himself I would have to say this is genuine. Here's an in person a friend got when Pele signed his book over here. It is a perfect match apart from possibly one tiny bit of the P - as close as you will get. Congrats! 🙂

Matt, could you please come and explain your doubts on the items. Or could you perhaps show us a Pele' Secretarial that we can compare to Ralphs results. Cheers:)
I'll be very interested to hear what Matt comes back with. I have been going through the net checking originals and along with Paul and Nigels examples I think it looks perfectly genuine.
The problem is Pele has such a simple signature that it is not impossible that a well practised sec could sign mail however such is the simplicity of his autograph i would never ever say it was absolutely authentic or the other way round - but the pics do certainly have every hallmark of the way Pele signs that's for sure
