I sent my book I bought from Poundland and two cards to Mel Charles at a private address last Monday I got all my items back signed today . Thank you Ron for the help with this reply .

Mel Charles started his career with Swansea City where he played 250 games between 1952 and 1959 . He moved on to Arsenal where he played 64 games scoring 28 goals . He left Arsenal in 1962 when he signed for Cardiff City playing 81 games for them .

Mel Charles played 31 times for Wales he played in the 1958 World Cup , Wales reached the quarter finals where they were beaten by the eventual winners Brazil .
