Cracking charity shop find.

Very suprised to find this for a £1 in a charity shop in Accrington yesterday...I'm sure Nigel found the later edition signed some time ago as was over the moon with his find.

Lauren Bacall's "By Myself" first published in the UK in 1979, hard backed edition. Dust Jacket has seen better days but the book itself is fine.....Nicely signed to the blue front end page in black Biro. One of my best finds. Looks genuine to me and I'm sure Nigel or Wheel will confirm this.

Really pleased for you Alex, a lovely find. It is the first of three bios. The 2nd was from 1994 called Now, and then the third which I found was from 2005 called By Myself And Then Some. I also have a signed 8x10 from when I first started collecting.

You will have no problem replacing the dj in the near future. This book surfaces quite frequently in charity shops. I will keep an eye out myself.

You also have the bonus of an earlier signature before her handwriting started deteriorating.
