Another five this week.

A Bar'l of Apples HB (Canadian) 1/1 1971 by Gregory Clark - £2

Gregory was a Canadian war veteran (1st Word War trenches then battlefield reporter in 2nd World War), journalist and humorist. He passed away in 1977 aged 84. This book is dual signed. Not sure who the first sig is from, but I was able to authenticate Gregory's signature.

Fifty Years Of Racing at Chepstow HB 1/1 1976 by Pat Lucas - £1

Alan Hardisty PB 1/1 2000 - £1

Rugby league player/coach - Castleford, Leeds, Yorkshire, Great Britain, York.

White Cap and Balls HB 1/1 1999 by Dickie Bird - £2

I already have a signed copy of his autobiography and Around Britain book, so nice to add this. Like new.

The Watford Football Club Illustrated Who's Who PB 1/1 1996 by Trefor Jones - £2.75

A scarce book recognised as the most informative player's who who for Watford FC. Has some slight wear, so it will not be used as a ttm project, but it is signed by Trefor, and is a very useful resource for me as it is quite comprehensive.

Quite a mixed bag of finds this week Nigel..You find more n a week than most in a year. Still as hungrey as ever for that signed copy on the charity shop shelf.

I was working south of Inverness today , I checked out the charity shops in Aviemore Newtonmore and Kingussie but sorry to say I have nothing to report 😞

Sorry, I told a porkie. The opportunity arose to visit a charity shop today, and I found a brand new unread 2012 1st edition signed for £1. Could not believe my luck.
