Carrie Fisher (original "Star Wars") SUCCESS!

On 4/12/12, I sent Carrie Fisher (Princess Leia) an autograph request, with SSAE and 3x5 card for signing. Instead of receiving my blank card today, I was sent a b/w photo signed "Carrie Fisher." Address used was in the fanmail.biz database. As for scanning this photo, I have a concern. I have been asked for a scan several times this month, but now that I have a scanner and am setting it up at present, my question is this.....do you want several scans at one time, or on an as needed basis? Please advise, anyone.

She is well known for sending out secs and there have been loads of secs coming back from her recently.  However over the years the odd real one has slipped through the net, although usually via venue.  If you want to post a scan though I will gladly take a look for you.

on a side note, for a lot of years, her Mum, Debbie Reynolds used to sign all of Carrie's fan mail, something they both openly admit now

As for scans. This is a forum where we share pics of our successes each time we get a success. It is important to get authentication from your peers on the forum as ttm is a minefield for genuine replies. We also enjoy seeing all the successes - lots of fun.

they suspect its actually her mother,debbie reynolds who is signing them,i sent her a request via venue over christmas,but unfortunately never got a reply,,your lucky to get any reply from that address to be honest mate,i hope it genuine,look forward to a scan

just a further note on this,i actually think it is unlikely that debbie reynolds signs her mail,simply because debbie sends out secretarials too,her sec and carries sec,are probably one of the same

Debbie hasn't signed Carrie's mail for years now but she did used to back in the days when Carrie was in rehab.

I was lucky enough to get an authentic reply from Carrie TTM when I sent to her VV back in 2006, not seen many since then though:
