Attic Find

I had a rummage in the attic yesterday and found these. 

Quite some time ago I posted some cards sent to Charlie Chester but, I don't think I included these as I'd forgotten I had them.

I've managed to identify Gareth Hunt, Lennie Bennett, Jess Conrad, John Bennett, Renee Short, Nicholas Parsons, Ronnie Wolfe, Henry Cooper and Harry Secombe but, I've left question marks next to those I don't know. 

A nice clear sig of Patricia Hayes.

A letter from Graham Taylor when he won promotion with Aston Villa. (It's not looking good for them this season.)

And sorry to do this again but, I also found another Peter Cushing sig. It's not his complete sig but still instantly recognizable. A bit poignant as he has signed his wife's name too.

Bottom right of the card - that looks like Pat Jennings.

Peter Cushing adored hs wife. He was never the same after she passed, and just wanted to join her. The Jim'll Fix It where a rose was named after her was one of the very few bits of tv to make me shed tears.

I can imagine that naming of the rose moment to be very emotional. It always make me sad to think how lost Peter was when his wife passed on.
