😞
After IPing Asa on Wednesday night at the Tranmere game...it was decided that he would part company with Accrington Stanley....We are struggling with cash flow again, all employees apart from team players will have shorter hours or reduced wages. The club are sorting out a new share issue starting from today and are hoping to raise £1 Million...
So Sorry Asa Hartford....Probably got the last graph he signed at Accrington

Sorry to hear rhat Alex. Watford have had to cut so many corners I can sympathise with what Accy are going through. Glad I got that shirt to him recently.

Down at Plymouth I know only too well what money problems do to a club (we're still not sorted out)
I'm sure Asa will join another club soon, but it's always bad news when any business starts laying off people.

It's very sad to see so many clubs struggling. The money in football seems to be shared out in a way that disadvantages the lower league clubs. Clubs like Watford have a great academy system but end up losing those players to bigger clubs because they can't afford premiership wages. Like most industries, there's too much money at the top.
