Another addition to my Rugby book.......

Sent my rugby book, photos and index cards to Derek Prior "Budge" Rogers on the 4/8 and received all back signed on 12/8. He signed the two photos on the back and used another index card to write a small note.

Budge Rogers was born in my home town of Bedford and later played for and captained Bedford RFC during the 1960/70's. His and Bedford's finest hour came in 1975 when they won the Knock Out Cup at Twickenham beating Rosslyn Park 28-12. He also won 34 caps for England and was captain between 1969-74 and played for the Barbarians and the British Lions.

A nice result for me from the great old days of amateur rugby union.

The book looks brilliant. I do enjoy watching the multi signed items fill up. Pity he signed the back of the photo's but it's still a great result for you.
