I wrote to Allan via his work address at the end of the year and received my cards back signed today.

Allan John Clarke (born 31 July 1946 in Short Heath, Willenhall, West Midlands), nicknamed "Sniffer", is a former footballer who played in the Football League for Walsall, Fulham, Leicester City, Leeds United and Barnsley, and won 19 international caps for England.He was one of English football's greatest goalscorers who shot to fame in the much-admired and feared Leeds United team of the late 1960s and early 1970s.
