Had a couple of Doctor Who replies today. More vintage Who stuff, although one chap spanned 42 years between his two appearances in the show. Both sent nice letters.

Replies this week were from Malcolm Rogers (33 days), Arthur Cox (22 days) and Roy Spencer (23 days). All fine veterans of the screen. Malcolm was the only one I had not written to before. For quickness I will just show the Doctor Who pics.

Starting with Malcolm, who I had to write to again yesterday with a 2nd pic. I was sending him two pics but picked up one from my pile which was incorrect. He duly signed the one correct pic and returned the wrong one. Nice guy.

Malcolm Rogers

Roy Spencer

I like the Arthur Cox combination. It makes for an interesting theme. The DW replies are doing really well for you at the moment, Nigel.

Well done Nigel, some more great replies,Like me with my football cards I've often sent to people a couple of times over the years, but it's always good to get a new signature for the collection. You must have one of the best Doctor Who collections around.

#6 - There is something about people that have appeared in Doctor Who. I have hundreds of letters/notes from Who people - they love to communicate with fans even if it was the most insignificant part of their career.

#7 - Arthur is a lovely man. I got a real kick when he got to appear again 42 years after his original appearance.

#8 - I am barely scratching the surface with my collection. I may have hundreds, but it is nothing compared to many collectors out there. You have to remember, this is second time round for me after having to sell my original collection in 2007, so I will never be able to get many I used to have via ttm as so many have sadly passed on. I still have a lot of letters and record cards, and some gaps will technically be filled with them, but I would prefer to have as many on my own themed pics as possible, or at least on pics of some kind. I always will love the show, and cannot wait to see what they do next year for the 50th anniversary - it will be special.

A few more fantastic replies for your brilliant collection Nigel well done mate .

I agree with you about your own cards I have a big collection of signed Celtic index cards but I would much rather have my own signed cards in my collection .

Hail Hail
